Sandeep is the Managing Director, Consumer Banking Group eBusiness and Payments, in DBS Bank since 2008 where he has been doing the Internet and mobile banking initiatives. Before that, he was with PayPal since 2000 in the U.S. and Asia in different capacities, the most recent being the Regional Head for Asia. He has also worked with Citibank N.A. for 17 years in different capacities in Singapore, New York, Japan and India.

Kamesh has ~22 years experience in Business Operations and Technology Consulting across Retail Lending and Cards & Payments leading multiple engagements involving business technology alignment and transformation across geographies

Kamesh heads the Cognizant Business Consulting Practice for Cards & Payments and Retail Banking based out of India leading a team of over 100 business consultants working with leading banks, card issuers & processors and payment networks. The range of services include business IT alignment and transformation, Product selection strategy, Application platform rationalization strategy and Organization change management. He has personally led consulting engagements advising banks and financial institutions areas spanning Core Payment Systems transformation, Billing & Revenue Management business process rationalization & solution conceptualization and Business & IT alignment strategies.

Kamesh also has over 15 years of business operations experience in the financial services industry where he has held various positions ranging from Head – Business Consultancy & Product head for a Retail Lending product company in India, Branch Head & Credit manager for one of the largest Leasing companies in Oman, Marketing and Credit administration lead for a leading non-banking financial institution in India, and Financial Analyst managing budgeting, MIS & strategic planning for a diversified engineering conglomerate in India. His breadth of experience spans Retail Lending, Leasing & Commercial loans, Credit Administration, collections & recovery, Technology solution strategy and implementation across multiple geographies.
